Austheat AHT860 Freestanding Hotplate/Grill is a robust, Australian-made cooking workhorse designed for high-volume commercial kitchens. Built from heavy-duty stainless steel with a 12mm machined steel cooking plate, this freestanding unit combines a full-size hotplate with an integrated toaster and salamander element, giving you multiple cooking functions in one compact footprint. The 645 x 585mm cooking surface heats to 300°C, ideal for searing, grilling, toasting and holding.

Precision control comes via dual digital LED thermostats—one for each zone—with separate left/right controls and a cook/idle mode, so you can manage different cooking tasks simultaneously without waste. The 12.5 kW power output (10.5 kW hotplate, 2 kW toaster) ensures rapid recovery and consistent performance during service. Rear castors make repositioning straightforward, while the all-stainless construction stands up to daily cleaning and the demands of professional kitchens.
