Chafing Dishes
Chafing dishes hold food at serving temperature on a buffet or function table with no power point required at the table itself. Two Mixrite units are listed: an oblong chafer for pan-style service and a round chafer better suited to soups, curries and rice.
Caterers normally run them alongside hot water service — see Urns — and step up to powered holding from Bain Maries where a service runs long. The rest of the servery range sits under Hot & Cold Displays.
