Preparation Fridges
A preparation fridge is a refrigerated bench with a chilled well and topping rail across the top, so a pizza, salad or sandwich line can be assembled straight from gastronorm pans without anyone breaking station. Cabinets below hold the backup product at the same temperature. The range includes Skope ProSpec salad preparation models in two and three solid door layouts, Williams Opal and Emerald remote under counter prep counters, and Atosa units.
Prep fridges are specified as part of the assembly line rather than as storage, so pan configuration and bench length usually drive the choice. They pair naturally with Pizza Ovens and the rest of the Food Preparation equipment, and where a shorter chilled well is enough, Benchtop Refrigeration sits on an existing bench.
