Commercial microwaves are built for duty cycles that would finish a domestic unit inside a month — sealed cavities, higher wattage and controls that survive constant handling. Duty rating should follow how often the door opens: a few dozen cycles a day is light duty territory, while continuous reheating needs medium or heavy.
