Through a referral from a mutual contact Diana was approached by the client to help finalise the design and equipment selection for the refurbishment of Pie Time in Thomastown. Pie Time is a successful established bakery specializing in large variety of hand crafted Oz meat pies, as well as their own selection of cakes and biscuits, which are all made in house of course. The owner wanted quality refrigeration and catering equipment, and displays which further enhance the visual appeal of the vast selection of food.
The fantastic look and feel of this shop was achieved through a variety of equipment, including Cossiga Tower series pie warmer and cake display, Cossiga liner series refrigerated display and the unique item is the heated display, rather than going with the traditional bain marie, Pie Time has a Hatco drop in heated warming stone, as well as the Roband heat lamp above which means the warm sausage rolls, pizza rolls etc are displayed in an inviting manner. The front of house storage refrigeration is a Williams Boronia star, plus new back of house cooking equipment chosen was the Electrolux Compact series 4 burner range and flat grill. The fryer is an Anets SLG40.
